Moving part of the supply chains or factories out of China is "a big mistake", said Luis Rubio, president of Spanish Chamber of Commerce in China, in a recent interview with China Daily.

"Moving outside of China, the factories should take into account another risk", said Rubio, listing out factors such as raw material, electricity, logistics and security.

He believes China"s business environment is "more mature than other countries" with friendly tax regulations, high levels of security and local governments" active efforts to help set up companies.

The head of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in China holds a positive economic outlook in China this year.

"China is investing a lot of money to get foreign companies to come here again. So most European countries and many companies from Europe are thinking about China because this is a good market and a very good opportunity for them," he said.

When talking about the economic cooperation between Spain and China, Rubio believes that the Spanish companies are "very confident in cooperating with Chinese ones".
